Les 400 coups [François Truffaut]

Poems in Unrhymed Cadence - II [F.S. Flint]

Under the lily shadow
and the gold
and the blue and mauve
that the whin and lilac
pour down on the water,
the fishes quiver.

Over the green cold leaves
and the rippled silver
and the tarnished copper
of its neck and beak,
toward the deep black water
beneath the arches,
the swan float slowly.

Into the dark of the arch the swan floats
and the black depth of my sorrow
bears a white rose of flame.

Forest

My hero [Foo Fighters]

Too alarming now to talk about
take your pictures down
and shake it out
truth or consequence, say it aloud
use that evidence race it around.

There goes my hero
watch him as he goes
there goes my hero
he's ordinary.

Don't the best of them bleed it out
while the rest of them peter out
truth or consequence, say it aloud
use that evidence race it around.

There goes my hero
watch him as he goes
there goes my hero
he's ordinary.

Kudos my hero
leaving all the best
you know my hero
the one that's on.

There goes my hero
watch him as he goes
there goes my hero
he's ordinary.

There goes my hero
watch him as he goes
there goes my hero
he's ordinary.

The secret of life is not to do what one likes, but to try to like what one has to do.
